Allino from BC Garn is a classic combination of linen and cotton and it comes in a comprehensive range of attractive colours. The blend of these two natural fibers gives this versatile DK weight yarn a unique mottled appearance, as the dye takes to each fibre differently. The result is a beautifully textured look that will not "overtake" interesting stitch patterns, but rather enhance them.
Allino is a versatile yarn that can be used for a variety of projects for spring and summer - ideal for sweaters or tops, big and small, old and young.
The linen in Allino is sourced in Belgium and the cotton is sourced from different countries. Allino is spun and dyed in Italy.
It is recommended to wash your swatch before measuring your gauge as Allino can loosen up a bit after washing.
