A secure and easy way to place your stitches on hold.

These hollow flexible cords attach easily to your needle tips, allowing you to transfer your stitches quickly to the cord itself. Use them as convenient stitch holders, or as a way to try on your top down garments to customise their length.

Each tin contains:

  • 1 x 150cm/60" cord
  • 2 x 75cm/30" cords.

We ship worldwide.

Packages can be shipped via An Post (the Irish National Postal Service) or DPD / DHL Courier.

We ship Tuesday - Friday each week.

Stitch Holder Cords

The stitch cords are an effective solution to holding stitches for future use on your project. They slide easily on and off needles and through your work. As a bonus, they are light weight making them an excellent tool when making sweaters! In addition, "This Is Knit" provides them at a very reasonable price compared to others I have seen online. I promise you will not be disappointed with this product!

A must have for any knitting projects. 3 cords in tins that is easy to use and easy to store. I am able to try out my jumper to gauge the size without worrying about dropping stitches. Highly recommend for circular knitting!

Great product and exceptional service

Since I got the stock holders I have been using them and they work great. So would recommended to any knitters.

Additionally, I was deciding to get them from This is Knit or from Amazon. And if you get at least two it was cheaper form here, plus the whole experience was great. Yes it took some time for it to arrive to Slovakia, but honestly it came sooner than I expected :-) also…when you knit (at least my speed) you are not really rushing…. and the customer service is awesome. If I find anything else I need, I would definitely order from here and support a small established business ❤️

Stitch holder cords

I recently bought these … hurrah !!! The end of stitch holders that open , no more lengths of wool to hold stitches… easy to use , lovely bright cheery colour… yarn easy to move from them and best of all , they make trying on unfinished knits so easy 🙌… what a brilliant addition to my knitting collection thank you
