This is my second time to knit with this particular yarn which is 50% linen and 50% wool. I like it very much to knit with and particularly love the colour I am using (no. 17) which is a powerful orange-red, In this sample the colourwork is with beige and gold contrast yarn. The pattern is Kerti - a Ravelry pattern by Orlane Sucche - Tete Beche Designs
Alvor is a wool/linen blend and is as soft as butter and very easy on the hands. It comes in a lovely range of soft colours and knits up beautifully, not splitty at all. I would use this yarn all year round and not just for summer. I will definitely be using this yarn again as I love knitting with it.
Also, it is great to have easy access to another sport weight yarn!
