As a team we couldn't resist pulling different options from the shelves and our favourite combos are listed below for you to check out.

What is a MKAL?
An MKAL is a Mystery Knit-A-Long and Stephen West is famous for creating the most spectacular shawls for each of these mystery events. Every autumn knitters around the world knit a shawl based on a new "clue" (a fresh section of the pattern) that is released every Friday.
There is a very active Ravelry group for MKAL members, with loads of support on hand and always someone to cheer you on. Stephen will also have great tutorials for any tricky bits.
How do I sign up?
Visit the Westknits Ravelry store or you can purchase the pattern from Gumroad. We don't include the pattern with the kits as you will need to sign up with your email address so you get the new section each Friday. Once you purchase the pattern you will received a PDF with lots of information about the MKAL.
Have you seen the finished shawl?
We wish! We don't get to see the finished shawl but we have chosen the kits based on the information given in the pattern PDF. Basically we read the information and then ran to the shelves to pick the colours we wanted to use ourselves and that how these kits were born!
