Shortly after purchasing your KAL ticket, you will receive a link to your own PDF copy of the Side by Side Sweater Pattern.
You will also be linked to a handy "Pre-KAL" file that will help you to choose your size and to calculate the yarn amount needed for your project.
Yarn Coupon

Live Events

You will also need...
Main Circular Needles: 4mm - 4.5mm (US 6-7) or size needed to obtain gauge and optimal drape, 80-100cm (32-40") long.
Smaller Circular Needles: short circular needles (and/or DPNs) in 3.5mm-4mm (US 4-6) for neckline and cuffs
A third needle of similar size for 3-needle bind-off
Optional:
DPNs in same size for sleeves (or just magic loop with your circulars)
A Tapestry Needle for your ends
4 stitch markers
Waste yarn for holding sleeve stitches or stitch holder
Optional: Locking stitch marker to track sleeve decreases

The Side by Side Sweater is suitable for an adventurous beginner or intermediate level knitter - but don't worry - everything is easier during a KAL!
Of course! We love to welcome knitters from all over the world to take part in our KALs.
Please try to order early to give your package plenty of time to reach you though.
Don't worry! There's still tons of fun to be had through our Zoom events and each shop will be posting updates on different channels as the KAL progresses.
The pattern also is supported by links to tutorials on all the techniques needed to complete the sweater.

To participate in the KAL all you need to do is:
1 - Subscribe to the iKnit7 Newsletter at www.iKnit7.com
2 - Purchase a KAL Ticket from one of the iKnit7 shops.
Your KAL ticket will come with a €70 coupon that can be redeemed against needles and notions, as well as yarn.
So you can combine stash yarn with new yarn, or opt to spend your coupon on a new set of interchangeable needles if you like!
