Carol hails from Cork and so is a home-grown knitwear designer who has received international acclaim through her published patterns in Interweave Knits, Knitty, Twist Collective and Yarn Forward magazines. She also self-publishes a number of designs that are available from her blog, StolenStitches.com

About the projects:
The two project options for this workshop are the Centrique Shawl
, which is suitable for a knitter with a little experience (i.e. if you are familiar with basic increasing and decreasing). It is a perfect first shawl pattern and a great introduction to basic lace knitting. Click here

The Captiva Wrap
is the second project option and it would be suitable for a slightly more experienced knitter. The wrap is shaping using a technique known as "short rows" so if you would like to learn this technique then this is the pattern for you! You can read more about the pattern here
