As of December 1, 2020, This is Knit's doors are open again for in-person shopping! We are so excited to welcome you back into our shop and help you with your knitting and crochet needs this holiday season in a safe and socially distanced manner. Keep reading to learn more about our December Hours, Click & Collect Schedule, and more.

December 2020 Shop Hours

    We are open from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 11AM to 5PM.

    - Masks are required and they must be worn correctly (covering both mouth and nose).
    - The use of hand sanitiser is mandatory upon entering the shop.
    - A basket must be used at all times. Don't worry, baskets will be sanitised after each use!
    - Card payments are preferred and if possible, contactless.
    - Shop alone if possible. If small children are with you, please ensure they are closely supervised.
    - Fibres can be tested on the inside of your wrist. Please do not hold any yarns against or near your face.
    - Maintain a 2 metre distance from others in the shop.
    - Stay home if you have any cold or flu-like symptoms.
    - Only 3 customers will be permitted inside the shop at a time.
    - We ask that you restrict your visit to 15 minutes for reasons of fair access and safety.

     

    We appreciate your understanding of our Covid-19 guidelines we have implemented so that you can shop comfortably with us and in confidence of your safety.

     

    Click and Collect

    If you live or work locally to the shop you once again have the option to order online and pick up your goodies from us directly. Our Click and Collect Service is available to you Monday to Saturday from 11AM to 5PM. 

    Christmas Holidays

    Our last day of trading is Wednesday 23rd of December and we will be closed from Thursday 24th of December to Monday 4th of January 2021. This is Knit will reopen on Tuesday 5th of January 2021 at 11AM.

     

    Holiday Posting Deadlines

    If you can't make it into the shop, we'll miss you, but don't forget that we are continuing to offer delivery to your door through the online shop. You can shop online with us 24/7! Listed below are An Post's advised last postal dates for 2020, but to be on the very safe side we suggest adding an additional week on top of these dates.

      Within Ireland - Monday 21 December 
      Northern Ireland - Saturday 19 December
      Great Britain - Friday 18 December
      Rest of Europe - Saturday 12 December
      USA - Monday 7 December 
      Rest of the World - Monday 7 December
       
      IMPORTANT UPDATE - Following the latest update regarding holiday posting deadlines from An Post, the final posting date for delivery within Ireland by Christmas has been brought forward to Monday 14th December. 

      What does this mean for you? For pre-Christmas delivery in Ireland, please order as soon as possible - *before* midnight Sunday 13th December. That is this upcoming Sunday! Parcels shipped after this date cannot be guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas Day. 

      Express shipping by DHL is now available on our website for orders to Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, so it is still possible for your order to be delivered before the big day.
