The Perla Bonnet

Are you searching for an utterly adorable baby pattern? Perhaps something that uses some new techniques so that you expand your knitting horizons over the course of a small and manageable project? Well, we just happened upon the sweetest design a few weeks back: The Perla Bonnet by Alejandra Graterol. Our version was worked up in two shades of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino (Shades 006 "Pink" and 021 "Silver") and it was the work of just a few short evenings.  There's the delightful bonus of having enough yarn remaining to work the same project again too. We would simply have to reverse the colours for the second project. Those skills we mentioned? They're working a provisional cast on, dabbling in a dash of brioche knitting, and then whipping up those cute i-cord ties.  When combined they create this heart-meltingly cute result.  We can see a lot more of these bonnets in our future. • Two balls of Baby Cashmerino (one in each shade)
• 3mm circular needles
• 3mm double pointed needles (if you are not familiar with the Magic Loop technique) (View our range of knitting needles.)
