Belmonte is a blend of organic wool and organic cotton which combines the warmth and lightness of wool with the comfort of cotton. Each fibre type takes the dye up at different rates, giving this yarn a beautiful marled effect.

I have used wool/cotton blend yarns before but this one is the softest! It is easy to work with, I got it for a baby blanket and as I started working, I immediately decided that I need more other colours too. It is perfect yarn for baby garments, the marled effect is beautiful.

I have bought Navy, Denim and Forest green, I wasn't sure how It will looked knitted but loved the combination of colors, and the feel of the wool/Cotton mix.
After starting the project I was amazed with the finish and the random pop of tones, the fabric is very flowy and soft, even on the garter stitch.
There is a lot of yarns to choose from, don't hesitate asking for help, the store assistants are all lovely, very friendly and very very helpful.
