Did you love the all the knitwear in The Queen's Gambit as much as we did? Wool and Pine certainly did and it inspired them to create the Gambit Cardi.

We knew this would be just perfect for the stunning colours of the exclusive to This is Knit DK Tweed from Irish Artisan Yarn. 

The Gambit Cardi is a stylish and wearable addition to your wardrobe, with its chic, slightly structured fit and elbow length sleeves. Classic design elements feature: stockinette, cable button band, a touch of seed stitch (on the collar, button band, cuffs and hem) and tidy i-cord edging for a crisp finish.

This Cardi is knit from the top down, on circular needles and the pattern links to helpful video tutorials for every step of the process.

 

This kit includes:

  • The yarn required for the size selected (see chart below)
  • A printed copy of the Gambit Cardi pattern.

Also required but not included:

  • 3.5mm/US 4 16" circular needles or DPN's
  • 3.75mm/US5 16"-40" circular needles

Favourite knit

Excellent yarn and pattern. Some very clever details e.g. the button holes are the cable loops, which work really well. The cardigan is lovely and warm, but not too warm to wear indoors. I wore this a lot last winter, and it is still looking very good with little effort.
