Caracollo Hat and Mitts | Walcot Yarns

This is the perfect knit hat and fingerless mittens set for those blustery days. Designed by Rachel Brown and knit in Walcot Yarns Opus, these quick knit accessories feature a charming textural lace stitch pattern which elegantly spirals around both the hat and mitts. You are sure to enjoy watching the pattern reveal itself as you knit.

Kit includes:

• Yarn required for the size and colour selected
• Copy of the Caracollo Hat And Mittens pattern

Also required but not included:

• 2.75 mm (US 2) needles for knitting small circumferences in the round
• 3.25 mm (US 2) needles for knitting small circumferences in the round
• Stitch markers

• Hat: S (M, L)

Finished hat circumference:40 (45, 50) cm / 15.75 (17.75, 19.75)”, to fit head circumference of approximately 45.5 (51, 56) cm / 18 (20, 22)”
Hem to crown length:21.5 (22, 25) cm / 8.5 (8.75, 9.75)”

• Mitts: S (M, L)

Finished mitt circumference: 15 (17.5, 20) cm / 6 (6.75, 7.75)”, to fit hand circumference of approximately 16 (18.5, 21) cm / 6.5 (7.25, 8.25)”
Length:17 (19, 22) cm / 6.75 (7.5, 8.75)”

Requires 1 (1, 2) skeins of yarn.

Please note if you wish to add length to either the hat or the mitts in the sizes S or M you may require a second skein.
