I am an experienced knitter but have never been able to do colorwork projects. As an English knitter (flicker) I have not been able to get the right technique for holding the yarn: 2 hands? 1 hand both yarns, Norwegian thimble? Everything was clumsy and I got frustrated. The tutorials in this follow along were fantastic. Great examples, clearly stated etc. Along with the color dominate tutorials, plus all the tips, it was a great experience. And finally, I got the technique; I went with 1 yarn in each hand and finally have a renewed confidence in doing colorwork. Thanks Lisa, for the opportunity to finally master it! And, I love the yarn and the cowl too! My wrong side looks as great as the right side!

Just received my starter kit. Lots the yarn and the colours. I would never have used yellow and blue but I love them. I can't wait to get started in the next week or so..
