This is Knit is an amazing shop with nothing short of outstanding and knowledgeable staff. Came through Dublin while touring Ireland and a key stop was This is Knit to peruse their ample selection. After selecting gorgeous yarn for a sleeveless jumper for my daughter, left very happy and very much ready to knit. True disappointment hit 4 months later after the project was done and ready for gift wrapping. I gingerly blocked it in ice cold water and got a shock as it dried and two different shades of the same wool appeared. One skein it appeared was from a different dye lot. Super sad, contacted the shop and they promptly replaced the yarn, even shipping it abroad to me at their cost. Who does that these days? I am so impressed with this shop.
The good news ending is my very capable daughter found a way to embroider a stripe so the line would be less noticeable so it turned out ok in the end. And I am using the yarn they sent for a sleeveless jumper for daughter #2. When next in Dublin, I will surely visit this shop.
Very smooth and soft.
Absolutely love the yarn I purchased. It was for a test knit of a sweater. It knit up beautifully for the sweater, and the colours compliment each other nicely too.
Knit a Hipster Hat by Petiteknit, fabulous soft yarn and colours soft yet vibrant . Knits up quickly too.
I bought this fantastic wool when I went lo lovely Dublin this summer and I absolutely loved it! It is so soft and it’s really nice to knit it. I made a beautiful vest from PetitKnit with it and I’m gonna wear it for New Year’s Eve !
Thanks to all the ladies who helped me in the shop, I had a great experience.
Happy new year to everybody! ♥️
