Le Petit Lambswool from Biches and Buches is a woollen-spun-wonder!
248 metres of high-grade lambswool are packed into each 50g skein, ready for you to transform into a soft yet structured finished fabric that is both warm and light.
This non-superwash yarn is ideal for stranded colourwork, with a pleasant grip that will ensure your patterns settle beautifully in place. Have you been dreaming of a Heartstrings Crop Sweater, a pair of Arctic Spring Socks or a Norwood Sweater? Then this, my friend, is the yarn!
There's also enough depth and texture here for Le Petit Lambswool to shine when used solo. The fibres are "dyed in the wool" and then spun, so you'll see intriguing subtle shifts of shade in the strands as you work with this yarn.
Maybe you'll opt for refined 4ply knits, that are all about texture and stitch pattern? We particularly like Seablush by Andrea Rangel and the Sugar Plum Polo by Yedraknits.

Dark orange grey colour is especially good. Love the fact they've changed over to selling their yarns wound into balls ready to use. The yarn has broken a number of times while using, however.
I used le petit lambswool biches et buches with midnight sol camarose to knit the leni hat and was very pleased with the result. The two colours blended well.
Lovely yarn. Nice and soft to knit with. Will definitely use it again.
Soft to handle and easy to knit up. The yarn is a little bit fragile if you need to pull on it to tighten a stitch - I'm knitting it up doubled with alpaca lace and this helps. The Candy colourway is beautiful, a soft, very pale grey with fairy-light hints of colour through it.
