Bubbly Shawl | Townhouse Yarns - This is Knit

We really love the designs created by the wonderful Julie Knits in Paris. If you have been looking for a project to let your brioche skills shine then Bubbly is for you.

Bubbly (Ravelry Link) is a full-on two-colour brioche shawl with crazy wrapping capacity thanks to a large three-quarter pie shape. It is worked flat and is a great opportunity to play around with brioche increases and decreases.

Paired with yarns from across the Townhouse Yarns range there is something for every fibre preference. From the silk and drape of Fade St, to the stunning stitch definition in Clarendon Sock and the wonderfully moody shades in Tara 4ply there is a kit option for you.

Your kit includes:

  • Yarn for the Bubbly Shawl in the combination selected (please see below for more details)
  • A printed copy of the Bubbly Shawl pattern

Also required but not included:

  • 4mm/US6 circular needle
  • 1 locking stitch marker
  • 4 stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
Please note that this shawl will use up almost all 4 skeins of required yarn. If you are a loose knitter, Julie recommends using 3.75 mm or 3.5 mm / US 5 or US 4 needles to avoid running out of yarn over the last few rows! You will still make a generously sized shawl
