Dacite Cardigan Kit | Studio Donegal

Simple and stylish, the Dacite Cardigan designed by Carol Feller can be worn open with a draped front or crossed over and buttoned to stay cosy. Knitted from the top down in one piece this cardigan is fast to knit with minimal finishing.

It is the perfect project if you are thinking about moving from accessories to garments or have recently completed Carol's Zero to Knit course and are ready to take on something new. This kit comes with the option of adding a guided online course that will accompany you through your first adult sized garment.

• 76 (83, 91, 100.5, 107.5, 117, 124, 131.5, 138.5, 145.5) cm

2-3”/5-7.5 cm of positive ease recommended.

Yarn Requirements:

Studio Donegal ‘Soft Donegal’ (100% Wool, 210 yds/190 m per 100g); colour: #5202 (Olive Green): 6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10, 11) skeins

Needles and Notions:

US size 8 / 5 mm circular needles, 40”/ 100 cm long (or longer for larger sizes)
US size 8 / 5 mm dpns if magic loop not being used for sleeves
Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter’s gauge is unique.
Stitch markers, waste yarn, tapestry needle, 2 buttons approx 1”/ 2.5 cm diam.
