This vegan-friendly yarn is made from a blend of cotton and lyocell, fibres which are known for their cooling and moisture-managing properties. This makes it ideal for baby knits or light warmer weather garments.

There is a sheen from this yarn, which gives a really elegant finish to your projects. And best of all - finished items in this yarn can be machine washed on a delicate cycle.

Morning Salutation Fino is a sustainably produced yarn. Tencel™ is famous for its closed cycle production process where all process water is reused by 99%.

Wondering what exactly Lyocell is? Lyocell is produced from sustainable wood which originates from certified and controlled sources.

This yarn also comes in a DK weight. Please see here - Morning Salutation

Shawl

I’m at the beginning of a lace christening shawl and using much larger needles than the yarn suggests. So far I am very happy with the outcome. There was a knot towards the beginning of the first ball - disappointing but I just ripped back and started again.

Soft with good drape

I'm knitting the Sabai Top by Paulastrickt with the colour 03 Taupe. The yarn is a little thin for the gauge (20 sts) but the swatch bloomed a little after blocking so looks like it will be ok! The yarn is soft , drapey and has a pretty sheen. I did find one knot at the beginning of the first skein which was a bit annoying, only because us knitters don't want to be stopped in our tracks by an unforseen knot ;)

I would recommend using a wooden needle as it is quite slippery and could be a little splitty as it is a loose ply. All that said, the fabric is lovely and the perfect weight for a Summer top and I have more in my stash for a Summer tee. The colour palette for this yarn is beautiful.

not happy with the quality

I ordered several but after the first one, I did not like the yarn as there are multiple breaks or knots in one skein. The second skein is slightly better, disappointed with the quality and won't purchase this again

Hi Sophia,

Thank you for letting us know about this - that many knots in a ball is not normal at all and we're going to follow up with our supplier about the quality issues you've had with this batch. I'll be back in touch as soon as I've heard from them.

Best wishes,

Lisa

Pretty good

I like using this. The strands tend to separate a bit, so not a 5 start review, but basically fine, easy to use.
