Designed by Carol Feller, Margila is designed to fit a very wide range of sizes. The generous positive ease and boxy shape make this easy-going sweater a breeze to knit.
The sweater is knit using a DK and a 4 ply yarn held together to create a marled effect.
Your yarn bundle includes:
- Yarn required for the size selected (see yarn information below)
- (Please note that two strands of yarn are held together throughout the project.)
Also required but not included:
- Pattern instructions (which can be found in the July/August 2022 Issue of Irish Country Magazine, or purchased on Ravelry here).
- 2 x US size 8 / 5 mm circular needles, 32” / 80 cm long (or longer for larger sizes)
- US size 8 / 5 mm dpns or 2 circs (if magic loop not used for sleeves)
- US size 7 / 4.5 mm dpns for neck Ribbing
- Tapestry needle
- Cable needle
- Stitch markers
- Waste yarn
- 3.5mm crochet hook
Always use a needle size that gives you the gauge listed, as every knitter’s gauge is unique.
