Soft as a cloud and incredibly versatile too - BC Garn Baby Alpaca is an absolute winner for all your lightweight-yet-cozy project needs.

The fine fibres contain microscopic air pockets that supercharge its insulating properties. In fact Baby Alpaca is five times warmer than regular wool.

This is a luxuriously soft yarn - with a super smooth structure - and it's strong and elastic too. To top it all off this yarn comes in an absolutely breathtaking colour range

BC Garn Baby Alpaca can be knit at a variety of tensions. We would call is a "light fingering" weight but it would work so well in elegant 4ply designs too - just be sure your project is aiming for lightness and drape and then you'll be on the right track.

It is a beautiful wool to work with. It is a 3 ply wool and ideal for what I working on. Really pleased with it.

Service with a smile

My favourite shop, anywhere! I had the feeling I might need yarn over the Christmas break and on the last working day before Christmas (23 Dec) put in an order. There was an issue with the colour I picked and the ladies were really helpful in picking an alternative. The order was processed immediately and I got the order on Xmas eve. Just in time for some covid knitting over Christmas! Same service always, thanks Lisa and tean! Deirdre
