The Kerti Sweater

A roomy, laid back sweater with a twist of vintage style - Kerti is designed to be knit seamlessly from the top down. This means the length of Kerti is customisable and you can also decide on whether or not to use contrasting colors for the ribbing when you get there.

A series of short rows are used to shape the sweater for comfortable wear. Sleeve stitches are set on hold while the body is worked in the round straight on to the bottom hem. Then the sleeves are finished in the round.

For durability and to add structure to the sweater, the stitches of the collar are picked up at the end and knitted in the round to build a cosy, slightly high collar.

About the yarn:

The Kerti Kit features two beautiful yarns: Alvor Rosarios and Spiral Grain Sport. Alvor Rosarios is a luxurious blend of 50% linen and 50% wool, perfect for creating garments that are both comfortable and stylish. The linen adds a lovely drape and breathability, while the wool brings warmth and softness, making this yarn a joy to wear year-round. Complementing it is Spiral Grain Sport, an extrafine merino yarn with a unique barber-pole colour effect. Its 19-micron fibres deliver an irresistibly soft touch, while the gradual colour shifts create a captivating, evolving fabric with every stitch. Together, they make Kerti a truly special knit.
