The Tresse Sweater by Isabell Kraemer is a timeless, seamless pullover with a delicate front detail that’s both subtle and striking. Worked from the top down, this design combines classic raglan shaping with a split hem and an elegant neckline — perfect for everyday wear with a touch of sophistication.
This kit pairs the pattern with yarns from Sandnes Garn: the soft and smooth Sunday (100% merino wool) and the luxuriously light Tynn Silk Mohair (a blend of mohair, silk and wool). Held together, these yarns create a beautifully lightweight fabric with gentle halo and excellent stitch definition.
The sweater is cast on at the neckline and shaped with short rows, then worked flat before joining in the round for raglan increases. The sleeves are placed on hold while the body continues down to a clean, modern split hem. Sleeves are then finished in the round for a polished, seamless result. The texture panel on the front is easy to memorise, making this project both relaxing and rewarding.
