More in the way of knitting...
January 28 2008 – thisisknit
I had really wanted to finish this one on time for Christmas but... better late than never, hey?
This is the Boatneck Bluebell sweater from Fitted Knits and I used Debbie Bliss Rialto Aran for my version. It just needs blocking now to relax the stitches a bit, but that hasn't stopped me from wearing it already... Impatient, moi???
MaryL has finished the gorgeous Alex cardigan from the front of the Debbie Bliss Luxury Collection pattern book.
She made a few changes to the short rows in the collar and if you are on Ravelry you can see her notes for the project by clicking here.
Oh, and have you seen the new Noro Mini Knits book? We're loving this little gem of a pattern book - it's full of brilliant patterns that use just a few skeins of Noro for practical projects that look really good! Well Jacqui has already knit up this little cropped cardigan using just 3.5 balls of Noro Cash Iroha...
... and Helen McC has started this gorgeous cabled scarf from Noro Iro ...
Before the Knitting and Stitching Show last year I also finished my Clapotis, but never posted a finished picture up here. It was a stay-up-until-1am type of finishing session with Edel in Limerick because I really, really wanted to have it on display at our stand for the show. It definitely helped that Edel was more or less at the same point on hers and so we kept each other going!
Jacqui also has a finished Clapotis but, as yet, no photo to prove it... I'll share that one soon - promise!

Oh my, I feel famous!
Love all the new finished projects, wow-ee ladies :) Lisa, that colour looks fab on you!
I love! the boatneck. Gorgeous. And super flattering. As always, the Debbie Bliss looks much better on a real person. It’s a beautiful cardigan. I think I know what my mum’s getting for her birthday!
