Marettimo by Caitlin Hunter
Marettimo is a gorgeous bottom-up sweater designed by Caitlin Hunter and published in Boyland Knitworks.
Marettimo is a relaxed lightweight summer sweater, knit in the round from the bottom up and featuring a simple feather and fan lace detail at the hem and sleeves. The front and back are separated at the armholes and worked flat with short row shaping at the shoulders. Named for a small island off the coast of Sicily, this sweater is the second in Caitlin's series of designs (Tegna is the first) named for Italian towns.
In this video, Jacqui shows you her choice of yarn, Townhouse Yarns Clarendon Sock and also gives you the alternatives of the gorgeous organic CaMaRose Okologisk Sommeruld yarn. What do you think of her choices?
Elton by Joji Locatelli
Jacqui's second project is the gorgeous Elton cardigan which has us all dreaming of summer days. Elton is a basic cardigan with a mix of stripes and texture. It has a relaxed boxy fit and it is slightly cropped and has 3/4 length sleeves.
It’s the perfect garment for lounging and relaxing. It’s worked seamlessly from the top down so you can try it on or make adjustments as you go. Jacqui chose to knit hers in Townhouse Yarns Fade St. and Abbey Lace.
We hope that you are enjoying the TIK Vlogs and that they inspire you to cast on something special.
