Woollinn Sneak Peak - Sherborne Sock - This is Knit

We know that you are all excited to find out what we have in store for you at Woollinn this year and I can tell you that you that there are treats and treasures a-plenty at our stand! Over the next few weeks, I'll be popping in to show you some of the limited edition items and specialist yarns we will have up for grabs.

First up is this beautiful custom-dyed Sherborne Sock Yarn, in an exclusive Woollinn colourway created by Sharon and Andrew of Dragon Hill Studio!

Introducing Sherbone Sock at Woollinn!

This yarn celebrates Woollinn in a self striping sock skein. This merino and nylon yarn has been hand dyed by Dragon Hill Studio especially for Woollinn in this not to be repeated colourway. Sharon and Andrew went to great lengths to reproduce the shades in the Woollinn logo and have even created a special label for this beautiful cakes. We're so thrilled with the result, and just itching to cast on our own pair of souvenir socks after the Festival!

Sherborne Sock in Woollinn

Please note that this yarn is worked to give stripes when you knit socks of approximately 64 stitches circumference but this yarn is not confined to socks. This beautiful Printmaker's Scarf by Sharon Carter uses just one skein of Sherborne Sock and we think it shows off the colours beautifully. We also can't believe that this is a free pattern but you can grab it for yourself over on Ravelry or you could always check it out in the Ravelry Lounge at Woollinn.

I'll be back soon with some more goodies to share, so have those pens at the ready!
