Pretty Potters

January 21 2011 – thisisknit

Miss Potters Just before Christmas we got an early and surprise delivery of the new Debbie Bliss Kid Mohair and Silk yarn, called Angel. It's a totally divine yarn, with a delicious colour range and we were ooohing and aaahing over it for days. It just so happened Siobhan wanted to make something wonderful for our delightful neighbours Marion and Dearvla of the Pepper Pot Cafe and the plan was hatched to mix complimentary shades of Baby Cashmerino yarn and Angel yarn into these beauties: Miss Pepperpotters They're Miss Potters (Ravelry Link), by the very talented Nicola Faull, with Angel and Baby Cashmerino held double. They have of course been christened the Miss Pepper Potters! The pair pictured at the top are Jacqui's own version and they truly are the snuggliest mitts ever! In further neighbourly love the brooch photographed is from one of the talented designers in The Loft market (top floor of the Powerscourt Centre on Fri, Sat & Sun)

I loooove them. I’d love to try making a pair with contrasting Angel and BCM too at some stage!
