Name It to Win It! - This is Knit
Name itto win it! With just ten days to go until Yarn Shop Day the excitement is building here at This is Knit! And who wouldn't be excited? Just look at the gorgeous skeins of Fade St 4ply that Jenny has dyed exclusively for the celebrations! Just 10 skeins will ever be available in this shade, and it won't go on sale until our doors open on Saturday 30th of April. In the meantime, one of you lucky readers can *win* one of the skeins by helping us to name this colourway. So, get your (knitted) thinking cap on, and post your entry in the comments below. The winner will be announced on Yarn Shop Day!

The first thing that popped into my head as the image scrolled by on my screen was Monarch, as in the butterfly, The beautiful bronze color and the spots.. Yeah when I got a longer look, I saw pinks and blues, but I am sticking with my first impression. –
    Monarch

Morning Haze – reminds me of the colours as the mists lift on a summer’s morning

Reminds me of Waterford’s copper coast with the blue sea&sky, copper sand, sea shells and the sea pink flowers that grow along the coast. I’d call it Copper Coast. Looks divine!

I’m thinking fruit and ice cream; Knickerbocker Glory or Summer Sundae!

It reminds me of a shepherds delight but someone already said that so now I call it “Valentia” my favourite place in the summer with summer skies, hedge rows with all those orange lilys and fushia and all you want is to be by the sea on the beach. In case the evening is chilly one needs a shawl in these colours. Then on those days that are dull and grey you put on your shawl and straight away you are back in Valentia!!!!!

These gorgeous colors remind me of sweet, delicious cotton candy swirls from a summer carnival, so I would name it Cotton Candy!

African sunset, it evokes a feeling of lions basking in the sunset of the Serengeti. It is just fabulous

First I thought of Sunset Surf, with the blue and green speckles reminding me of the sea. Then after seeing that a lot of the suggestions contain “sunset” I thought maybe Sundown Splash.
It’s a beautiful colourway, regardless of the name.
