Jenny Flower Tee - This is Knit

It may be autumn, but we are still dreaming of summer and layered knits. Julie Debreux's pattern for the Jenny Flower Tee (which was released at Woollinn in June) is now available in Korean, thanks to the wonderful skills of Kyounghui Kim - also known as @ami_duck on Instagram. This means that it is now available in English, French, and Korean! Whatever language you choose to knit in, this tee is a relaxing knit and a flattering style.

Ready to knit your own? Browse our suggested colour combinations, and pre-order your kit before the 23rd October 2019.

Jenny Flower Tee

Julie Debreux designed this fabulous garment for Townhouse Yarns Trinity 2-ply as a top-down knit with detailed yoke eyelets.  You can see three choices in our top image, and we can all agree that the flattering crew neck and drapey fit make this a perfect knit for layering over long sleeves this autumn.

Sizes run from a 28 inch to 60 inch bust, with each size having their own set of directions, and a recommended 30 cm to 40 cm of positive ease for that drapey look. One skein of each shade is all you'll need for sizes XS-4X, and then a mere 10 metres more is required for size 5X. From Julie's original skeins she had enough left over to make her daughter a matching Jenny Flower - how sweet is that?

Behind the Scenes

We thought you also might like to see this behind the scenes time-lapse captured by Dani (one of our fabulous social media volunteers) at Woollinn. It takes a lot of coordination during an event to have a designer, indie yarn dyer, and test knitter all in the one place at the same time, along with all the yarn and photographers to capture the moment. We are so thankful for everyone who helped to make this moment happen.

Have you knit a Jenny Flower Tee yet? We have put together a tempting selection of colour combinations for you!  These will be available for pre-order until Wednesday 23rd October 2019, with an estimated shipping date of the 30th October.

Which one will you choose?
