December 2018 - Posting Dates & Holiday Hours
December 12 2018 – Nadia Coburn
December seems to be flying by at breakneck speed this year and now it feels like Christmas is just around the corner. I'm sure you're all looking forward to putting your feet up and indulging in some fibre crafting over the break. How many projects do you have planned? I always seem to overestimate the amount of time I'll have, plan 3 projects (at least), and then only get half way through one! I'll remain an optimist though, because the planning is always lots of fun...
If you're making up your gift wish lists then we have lots of idea in store for you. But first I know a lot of you are wondering receiving your yarny packages before the holidays so below are the 2018 last posting dates. We're probably being a little cautious here, but it's best to build in a little buffer for processing times and larger than usual order volumes.
Christmas Break
We will be taking our annual Christmas Break from
Sunday the 23rd Dec at 5 pm, reopening on the
3rd of January at
10.30 am. We are very grateful for your support & custom in 2018 and - wow - what a year it has been! We have been working away on a round up blog post, because 2018 has been a whirlwind of new ventures, exciting events, overseas festivals and more. We have truly loved sharing it all with this wonderful craft community. We couldn't do what we do without all of you joining in both online and in-store, sharing and chatting on social media and reading/sharing our newsletters. It really does mean the world to us so a big THANK YOU to all of you from the TIK team.
Gift Ideas
If you are wondering what to purchase for that special crafter in your life, then stay tuned, as some of December's blog posts are for you. The posts will be based on our newsletter mailings so, if you don't want to miss anything, make sure you are signed up to our Newsletter
here. We will also be sharing some of our favourite projects both on
social and here on the blog too.
In the meantime, to help you get in the festive spirit, why not watch the moment that Powerscourt Townhouse turned on the Christmas lights this year?
