April 20 2016 – thisisknit
With just ten days to go until Yarn Shop Day the excitement is building here at This is Knit! And who wouldn't be excited? Just look at the gorgeous skeins of Fade St 4ply that Jenny has dyed exclusively for the celebrations!
Just 10 skeins will ever be available in this shade, and it won't go on sale until our doors open on Saturday 30th of April. In the meantime, one of you lucky readers can *win* one of the skeins by helping us to name this colourway. So, get your (knitted) thinking cap on, and post your entry in the comments below.
The winner will be announced on Yarn Shop Day!

This looks like ‘Just Dessert’ to me! :-)
And the winner is Bebhinn with her suggestion of ‘Kimono’…!!
Please contact us Bebhinn to arrange to receive your beautiful skein of Fade St4ply…
Congratulations, Jenny loves it..!
My first thought was Peach Melba, but then I saw the gorgeous blue/purple so how about Berry Delight or Berry Cobbler!!
“Buttercup sherbet”; reminds me of fluffy candy floss with a creamy buttery element. O
Kimono
It looks like it was made from kimono silk where you can still see the pattern that would have been painted onto it in the gorgeous speckles.
Fade 4me is my choice………………..please
Aran Sky is my pick, gorgeous shade :)
What about “Tangerine” or “Clementine”? I love it ðŸ˜
The colours look good enough to eat so ‘CANDYFLOSS’
Wow! That’s an exciting colorway. I vote Strawberry Caramel Sundae.
“Peach perfect” or “Hummingbird” – such a lovely mix of colours!
Peach Melba Sunday
I’m thinking native Irish birds, it has the same colours as the feathers of a bullfinch.
Spring-glow
Sunshine with clouds
So beautiful! I would name it “Cloudberry” as it looks like a beautiful berry Irish summer evening sky!
Would love to make a Hitchhiker scarf from it! I’m currently using Townhouse Yarns “Hearth” to make my first Hitchhiker… It’s beautiful to work with!
How about Hyacinth Sunset. The blue speckled remind me of Hyacinth flowers, while the pink and peach reminds me of Sunset skies.
Wow, such good names. How about ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’…
Either “Cotton Candy Sunset” or “Van Gogh’s Sky”
Beautiful colours! :)
How about one of these? Reef, Carnival, Urchin, Ablaze, Grapefruit, Tropics,
